Project Overview:

The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for snow removal services for all of Summit Drive and all associated streets and sidewalks. The selected vendor will be responsible for ensuring safe and accessible passage for pedestrians and vehicles during winter weather conditions.

Scope of Work:

• Snow Removal: Complete snow removal from all areas of Summit Drive and all adjacent sidewalks. This includes clearing snow from:
• Roadways
• Curbs
• Sidewalks
• Snow Accumulation Threshold: Snow removal services should commence when snow accumulation reaches 2 inches or greater.
• Timing of Service: Snow removal operations must be conducted promptly following snowfall, with priority given to completion within 24 hours post-event.
• Material Specifications: The vendor shall use appropriate snow removal equipment, such as snow plows, shovels, and ice melt products. All equipment must meet industry standards for safety and efficiency.
• Quality Standards: All snow removal activities must adhere to local regulations and safety codes, ensuring that cleared areas are safe for public use. This includes maintaining clear sightlines for drivers and ensuring that sidewalks are free from ice and snow.

Deliverables:

• Completion of snow removal services as specified within the timeline.
• Documentation of snow removal events, including date, time, and amount of snowfall.
• Regular communication with property management regarding snowfall events and service completion.
