Scope of Work for Pool Cleaning Service Contract

The selected vendor will provide comprehensive pool cleaning services for the Community pool facility. The scope of work includes the following tasks:

  • Regular Cleaning: Perform weekly cleaning services that include skimming the pool surface, brushing walls and steps, and vacuuming the pool floor.
  • Water Chemistry Testing: Conduct bi-weekly water quality tests to ensure proper chemical balance (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, etc.) and adjust chemicals as needed to maintain optimal water quality.
  • Filter Maintenance: Inspect and clean pool filters monthly, ensuring that filter media is replaced as necessary to maintain efficient operation.
  • Debris Removal: Remove all debris and organic matter from the pool area, including leaves, insects, and other foreign materials.
  • Equipment Inspection: Conduct routine inspections of pool equipment (pumps, heaters, lights, and other mechanical systems) and report any issues or required repairs to the property management team.

Material Specifications:

  • All cleaning materials and chemicals used must be environmentally friendly and comply with local regulations.
  • Replacement parts for pool equipment must meet or exceed the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications.

Quality Standards:

  • All services must be performed in accordance with the National Spa and Pool Institute (NSPI) standards.
  • The vendor must adhere to all local health and safety regulations regarding pool maintenance.

Timeline Expectations:

  • Services are to commence within two weeks of contract award.
  • The vendor must provide a detailed schedule of cleaning services and inspections to the property management team prior to the start of work.

Deliverables:

  • A monthly report detailing services performed, water quality results, and any recommendations for repairs or improvements.
  • Documentation of all chemical usage and equipment maintenance activities.

All proposals must include a detailed plan outlining how the vendor intends to meet the above scope of work, along with a pricing structure for the services provided.
