Scope of Work for HVAC System Replacement

The selected vendor will be responsible for the full replacement of the existing HVAC system at the specified location. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Removal and Disposal
  • Complete removal of the existing HVAC equipment, including the outdoor condenser unit and indoor evaporator unit.
  • Proper disposal of all removed equipment in accordance with local regulations and environmental standards.
  • Installation of New Equipment
  • Installation of a new outdoor condenser unit, with specifications to be determined based on system sizing and compatibility confirmed by the vendor.
  • Installation of a new ceiling-suspended indoor evaporator unit, ensuring compatibility with the selected outdoor unit.
  • Installation of necessary refrigerant piping and connections to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Electrical Connections
  • All required electrical work must be completed in accordance with the latest National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
  • Connections for the new HVAC system must be securely mounted and secured to ensure safety and reliability.
  • System Startup and Testing
  • Perform a complete system startup to ensure all components are functioning correctly.
  • Conduct thorough testing and verification of the HVAC system to confirm operational efficiency and adherence to quality standards.

Deliverables:

  • A fully operational HVAC system that meets or exceeds the specifications outlined in this scope.
  • Documentation of system startup, testing results, and any necessary adjustments made during the process.
  • Compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards as detailed above.

All work performed must be turnkey, including all labor and materials, and the vendor is responsible for confirming system sizing and compatibility prior to installation. Additionally, any necessary permits for electrical, drainage, or related work must be obtained by the vendor.

Please ensure that all proposals align with these requirements and reflect a commitment to quality and efficiency throughout the project timeline.
